Würth Industry South Africa, as it is known today, was until recently operating under the name “Action Bolt”. Action Bolt (Pty) Ltd was launched in August 1983 and commenced operations in its Durban head office. Over the course of the next forty-two years, expansion of the company necessitated the opening of sales offices in Johannesburg, East London, Port Elizabeth and Richards Bay. Action Bolt (Pty) Ltd was acquired by the Würth Group in 2006. In June 2025, the company underwent a name change to “Würth Industry South Africa (Pty) Ltd”, as part of our continued integration with the internationally renowned Würth Group.
